PYROFORCE® syngas cleaning

Before utilisation dust, soot, tars and other contaminants are removed from the syngas in a 3-stage gas cleaning process. This allows to directly use the cleaned syngas in a gas motor for combined heat and power production.

Byproducts formed during gasification and gas cleaning can be handled:
  • Ash from the gasifyer → very low residual carbon content (<5%)
  • Soot/tar from the cyclone → can be recycled 
  • Ash from the filter → can be recycled (only) with fresh wood as raw material 
  • Oil/tar from scrubber → can be recycled
  • Condensats from scrubber → can be disposed of by over-drying of raw material
Pelletizing of byproducts allows recycling!
