Renewable energies

Biomass consists to a large extent of carbon. Carbon is formed by photosynthesis from atmospheric carbon dioxide and is incorporated in the biomass. The increased use of such biomass within a sustainable agriculture, forest and waste management scheme is one of today's most important eco-political targets.

Reduction of combustion of fossile fuels has the highest priority. Increased use of biomass largely contributes to climatic protection and to the sustainable development of rural areas. Renewable energies become more and more important which, in our area, are mainly wood, energy crops and biowaste.

CTU is world-wide licensee of the KOMPOGAS technology for production of biogas from biowastes and energy crops.

CTU builds wood gasification plants in cooperation with PYROFORCE who are the supplier of the gasifyer.
